In December 2017, the founders of IDEAL OCP began the process with the General Coordination of Accreditation of Inmetro (CGCRE), the body responsible for the accreditation of conformity assessment bodies, and thus, in 2018, it began its operations as an accredited Product Certification Body, with the purpose of offering national organizations certification services for their products with seriousness, honesty, integrity, respect, responsibility in the search for building and preserving their image, with humility and courage to face future challenges.
The interested client must contact IDEAL OCP through our communication channels in order to receive all the necessary support to send the necessary and sufficient documentation to enter the certification process.
Based on the documentation, IDEAL OCP will begin a critical analysis of the initial documentation received. If any deviation is found (non-compliance with the requirement or lack of certain documents) our team will formally communicate with the client so that they can make the necessary corrections and send it again for a new analysis.
IDEAL OCP will send the client a commercial proposal, which is an essential document for consolidating a business deal and taking the first steps in a successful commercial relationship, presenting the objective, descriptions of the services that will be carried out as well as the amounts involved, followed by the issue of a product certification contract in which rules, rights and obligations are mentioned for both the client and IDEAL OCP.
Planning will begin with the preparation of an audit plan. This plan will foresee all the activities that will be properly carried out to achieve the objective.
At this stage, the planned factory audit will be carried out with the objective of verifying the effective implementation of the quality management system of the production process of the object (product) of certification, based on the requirements of ABNT NBR ISO 9001 as well as the collection of samples and sending them to the laboratory.
Once in possession of all documentation, IDEAL OCP will begin a critical analysis of all process records and decide on certification
Once the decision for certification has been favorable, IDEAL OCP will issue the Certificate of Conformity for the products and send it to the customer.
At the end of the certification process, IDEAL OCP will make available to the Client/Applicant the final artwork of the specific product conformity seal in accordance with its certified scope, a copy of the procedure for using the certificate, seal and conformity mark and a letter /declaration of authorization for the use of the seal of the certificate(s) granted.
After completion and issuance of the Certificate of Conformity, IDEAL OCP will carry out maintenance assessments in order to verify whether the technical-organizational conditions that gave rise to the initial granting of certification continue to be met. The frequency and criteria for maintenance must follow those determined in the specific procedures for the scope in question.
